9.3 X 53 SWISS M.89B (BÖCKLE)

Designed by Franz Böckle, this was the first design of the 9.3 x 53 Swiss cartridges and would date from the early 1900’s. The “M89” refers to the model of the Schmidt-Rubin Rifle, and not the year that this round was introduced. (Dixon Ref. SW4).
