8 X 75RS BEHR

The 8x75RS Behr was developed by DWM for Behrs Weapon Works of Suhl (Simson) using the 9.3x74R case that was necked to 8mm, (in this case for the S-type or .323” bullet). This version was the first to be produced and was the only one of these four types shown in the 1908 DWM catalog, placing its development around 1907. This version became the most popular of the four 8x75mm rimless/ rimmed cartridges. (Dixon Ref. M63).
