The 429 Desert Eagle was developed by Jim Tertin from Magnum Research, which forms part of the Kahrs Firearm Group and was made as an enhancement to the popular Desert Eagle platform. It is based on the 50 Action Express case necked to .429in. with a 30 degree shoulder. It gives about 45% more power than a 44 Magnum.
