Cartridge for an experimental German revolver. The headstamp H.EHRMANN & C x CARLSRUHE x dates this as a very early development as the Ehrmann factory ceased operations in 1882. This cartridge was also only shown in the 1882 Lorenz Export catalogue. (Erlmeier, Brandt Ref. 146D).
